Designed for engineers working with LPG systems requiring vessel and pipework installation. Includes refresher training and assessment.

Course Overview

The LPG vessel and fusion welding (CCLP1, VESLP1, VESLP2 & EFJLP1) package at Vulcana Training is designed for gas engineers working with LPG storage vessels and distribution systems, including above-ground and underground storage. This package also includes the EFJLP1 module, which qualifies engineers to carry out fusion welding of polyethylene LPG pipework.

The course is ideal for engineers involved in the design, installation, or maintenance of LPG storage and supply systems in rural, agricultural, or industrial settings. Refresher training is provided at the start of the course, followed by practical and theory-based assessments across all modules.

VESLP1 – Above-Ground LPG Vessels
Covers the installation, operation, and inspection of above-ground LPG storage tanks and associated controls.

VESLP2 – Below-Ground LPG Vessels
Focuses on buried LPG vessel installations, corrosion protection, access points, and safety requirements.

EFJLP1 – Fusion Welding of PE LPG Pipework
Provides training and assessment in fusion welding techniques for polyethylene LPG pipe systems, including safe practices and joint integrity.
